I hope you can see what it is.
It makes a lot of noise when the engine is running and it’s lose.

It’s in front of the crankshaft position sensor
Can I just remove this ?

Can you describe the noise? It’s a bit unusual for a harmonic damper itself to be noisy. It’s usually something related to the balancer, like a belt or a damaged pulley.

It’s also unusual for it to be loose. Is it loose on the crankshaft, or is it loose at the rubber bond between the inner and outer balancer rings?

Looks like you have the 4.2L. Sometimes harmonic damper/balancers go bad. It’s not good for your engine for it to be loose, as it makes the engine unbalanced and the engine will shake if it is bad. Get it fixed soon.
