Snap on Techangle guys come on in….

Looking at buying a pair of the tech angle torque wrenches in both the 3/8 and 1/2. It’s time for me to purchase a good set anyway.

I know they updated their electronic wrenches but what really are the advancements they put into the
ATECH3FR250B over the ATECH3FR250A?
The older style A seems to be able to do just as much as the new “B” but much cheaper on eBay and such.

The only major difference I’m seeing is the updated 80tooth head, handle and the leds. Has anyone with the older model had electronic issues with yours?

There’s no way I’m spending 450 and 550 off the truck for them. For that I’ll keep my old fashioned angle gauge lol.

Help me out here guys, if not was looking at a new pair of CDI click types. Thanks

I have had a 1/2″ Drive Techangle Torque wrench for probably 8 years now. Have had no problems with it. A key thing I do is ALWAYS remove the batteries after use… Leaking batteries can do bad things to expensive electronics.

I did buy mine off the truck and after you use one for a while, you never want to go back to the angle gauge…

Thanks Karl! Luckily when it came time to do heads on stuff that came in the shop most of the time I would just walk to my foreman a box and grab his. I’m thinking it just may be the way to go. I would like to see if I can special order the handle in Orange thoigh
