Hi all first off i would like to mention that ive been a car mechanic for over 14 years now and i get by with what knowledge i have through trial and error ive always used cheap aftermarket scanner tools from my local car parts dealer and i now want to go the extra mile with the diagnosing fault finding electrical side of things but anyway here is the question i cant afford a new snap on unit and i want to purchase a secondhand one for around 700 ive been looking at the mt2500 but would this be any use for cars up to 2008 or should i go the extra and buy a solus which one will perform the bidirectional function ? any help would be great as i don’t have a lot of money and i need to get as much value for money as i can ?
all responses will be honored with a thank you B)
