Do you have any good links to websites that sell engine rebuild kits for Lawn Boy Lawn mowers? I think mine is in need of a rebuild after 14 years of use.

Small engines are a thing of their own.
Not much about them are like cars.

As for the lawnboy parts, I have not worked on one of them in years.
Very very hard to get parts for them, your best bet is probably going to be E-bay.

You can get pretty good cheap new push mowers at wal-mart.

Two words for you Dreamer: Briggs & Stratton. You will never hunt for parts again.

I’ll screw around with my own, not my favourite thing to work on though. But I can usually figure them out for the most part. People always tease me saying I can diagnose a newer Cadillac transmission problem but have a hard time with a stupid carburator on a small engine or even regular vehicle with a carb. Heck I wasn’t brought up on carbs! They can be a little chinese to me since I only got into this trade 7 years ago when carbs were unseen on cars.C:P

And yeah, you’ll never go wrong with a Briggs&stratton.

Anyone have a good resource for tecumseh engine parts? I found several sites on google but after further inspection, they either did not sell rebuild kits or looked shady.

Iv got 2 B&S engines.
Both egines will run.
The first one is complete. 15hp ohv for a rider
I add a carb kit.and lapped the vavels myself..
Its been setting with clean oil for about 5mths!!!!
The tran went out in my ride soo I just pulled the egine and set it aside!

The other one 14.5 ohv and needs a starter and a few other things. Mayjor parts are there!
Can send pics!
Needs a good cleaning and oil change.
Ill take 35 for both of them you pay shipping!

Thats not bad, I’m actually taking two running B&S L-heads to the scrap yard this weekend.
I just need more room in my little shop.
