I’m wondering if anyone built a sleeper? (for people who doesn’t know what a sleeper is http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleeper_%28car%29 ) My parents have a 2000 Buick lesabre (don’t mind the cloths on the line) that im just dieing to make go go. Any suggestions on what you would add to your sleeper if you have (or do have) one? I think my self i’d supercharge it, with a k&n air filter, dual exhaust possibly chip it if i could find one. Also i’d see if i could find a v8 to put in that bad boy, bigger brakes etc I don’t know what else i’d do.. What would you do?

There are several videos on youtube about them. Slow and smooth cars that with little modification can do more than 25% more on HP. Interesting.

if i got around 500 HP out of that lesabre i’d be a happy camper. Now for that 1200 hp nova WOW. I seen that video before which sort of sparked the idea. I wonder if a big block chevy would fit in that lesabre.

Remember, making a slow car fast is more expensive than making a fast car even faster. You may want to use a better handling car for a baseline like a Mazda 6. There are performance cars that are sleepers, you may just have to hunt for them. A really good sleeper would be an old school Buick Grand National;only car enthusiasts know what those are. If you are set on the Buick, turbocharging it would also be a good idea.
