      I have a 2bbl keihin carb on a 86 accord 2.0 L, 4 spd auto with ac.

The carb is leaking from the site glass. Somehow the gasket or o ring came loose and is stuck inside the site glass. I need to get it out. How hard of a job will it be to take it out.

I see 2 screws on the site glass if I remove them will a lot of gas come out or just what’s in there?

Will the glass come out easily?
      Can I reuse the gasket?

I think the screws were not tight enough and that’s why the gasket came out in the 1st place. I just bought this carb this year. The gasket came loose recently because I just started smelling gas.

I also need to know how to get the gas back in there is it by pumping the gas pedal with the key off or on?
I have an electronic fuel pump.

If the ignition is switched off, the only fuel loss will be what is inside the bowl.

        It should.

I will replace the gasket. The problem I’m having is getting the screws loose seems they didn’t just snug them down they tighten them so tight I’m having a problem getting them off. I messed one of them up a little. I have my old carb and the same screws came off easily because they were snug. I’m beginning to wonder If the reason they did this was because it was leaking and they didn’t put the gasket in there. I found what I thought was the gasket maybe the float I’m seeing instead.

Do you know If I could put some PB blaster on them or freeze off.

If the screws are tightened as hard as you describe…
I would suggest removing the carburetor and work on it on a bench so you can have better access to the screws.
