Silicone Paste

I’m trying to find silicone paste up here in Canada but impossible. Unless I order online at 50$ a can with shipping.

Seems like dielectric grease is about the same thing am I right thanks

Got a can of 3M Silicone paste from a local parts store here, member of the “Uni-Select” banner

3M Silicone paste… a white thin can with the brush in the cap…

Thanks I’ll make some calls to the Uni-Selects I hadn’t called them.

Does anyone know if it’s the same as dielectric grease though?

If you give me the exact brand of dielectric grease you are looking at, I will try to find the MSDS date sheet for it online and will see if it is silicone based or not.

Permatex. I have a tube and a can under pressure

The permatex dielectric grease is 70% silicone rest is silicon oxide. I did find this product that is listed to be used as dielectric grease and for brakes. So I think it would be ok for brake slider pins If that is what you plan to use for.
