I’m not sure what engine it has, but I’ve been driving my Durango with the 318 with a rear main seal leak for many thousand miles now without any trouble.

I am assuming this has the inline 6 and not the V8. If it is, the oil leak from the main rear seal is a known issue. It may be minor now, but it will need addressing at some point. The Jeep i6

Sorry I never updated the thread but I decided against it. Not only did the doors not open, but the vehicle used to have a 6 inch lift, and the lengthened emergency brake cable from the lift wasn’t ever replaced. The handbrake was essentially inoperable,
