So I have an ABS light on. Pulled three codes related to the front left wheel speed sensor. This is on a 1999 Isuzu Amigo the front left speed sensor is frozen to the back of the wheel axle.
I have soaked in PB blaster, tried prying out with a flathead and hammer, tried working it out with channel lock pliers but doesn’t even budge.
My next idea was to take the rotor off and try and get vice grips or channel locks on both sides and work both sides to see if I can get it moving. However it looked somewhat complicated to remove because its 4wd and you have to remove internal axle gears/ bearings first to get down to pulling the rotor off. I am kind of a newbie and would hate to make my problem worse but at the same time am eager to learn and fix this myself.
What is the best way to go about this?
Thanks,
Dave
