I would like to see a video explaining an electric water pump, like you said before It may take you awhile to get your hands on a electric power steering, but keep it in mind 😉 Electric water pump has been around for some time but today was the first time I have ever heard of a such thing and I’m curious! I’m guessing it saves Mpg and gives a bit more hp because its not belt driven

Electric water pumps eliminate unnecessary weight, and impeller-induced drag at high rpm. Supposedly, that drag can eat up 3 or more HP. That’s why many race cars use one. BTW, I agree with the author that electrically driven accessories (A/C compressors, water & PS pumps, etc.) will be common on future vehicles. Mainly for fuel economy.
I’d be happy to do a video on that topic. I’d just need a vehicle with an electric water pump to come into the shop. I’d rather have a practical for show and tell when I make videos on stuff. Thanks for the suggestion.
