It could be out of alignment or there might be something in the seat track. It could also be the attachment of the seat and seat base. It could also be an issue where the seat attaches to the vehicle. Honestly, the only way to know is to remove it and inspect it. Here’s a video on the ‘basic’ parts of a manual seat that can get you started.

Keep us posted on what you find.

I check the seat frame and see what I find. awhile back the dealership replaced the seat leather skin along time ago with the seat frame. for the same thing so probably I have to replace it again. in fact I should replace the seat back to cause its worn out its going really expensive though cause its leather. the only question I have is do I have to reprogram the seat with the HDS after I replace the leather seat skin.

Well finally getting back to this old thread and what I found is that I will have to replace the seat frame due to the design of the seat frame. Just the way the track locks and how the motor is set up. but Anyways now I’m going to be replacing the Drivers Leather seat skin along with the foams. But I’m still wondering if I’ll need to buy or get A HDS system to reprogram the power seat. cause I know that 04 Accord’s have the passenger side seat sensor and need to be reprogramed. But unsure if this applies to my 03 Accord model.

I also looked to see if there was any thing like a coin stuck in the seat track but didn’t find nothing in there.
