Wondering if I should put seafoam in my 95 subaru station wagon. I have been getting an intermittent CEL pulled the code’s and one was for the coolant temp sensor and the other is an engine knock sensor. Well I decded to put 89 octane in instead of the 87 I normally put in. Well the CEL has not come on since and a subaru guy who is rebuilding his engine told me to put seafoam into it to clean out all the carbon build up…I was just wondering if that’s a good idea or what my cheapest alternitive is to clean the engine out from the inside the combustion chamber…
