        Welcome to the forums.

I don’t have an answer for you as i do not use PC based OBD software. Did you try a Google search?

Manually search through this section, there about 6 or 8 topics already on this. A few topics down theres a discussion on autoenguinity/ etc for pc. Search there first and you might find what your looking for. What features are you needing from your scan tool?

I bought an ELM327 Scantool (V1.4) on Ebay. Just got it yesterday and it works well. Gives codes, can clear codes, live sensor data, speed / distance data, freeze frame data and has the ability to log data with a $20 software upgrade. It works well with Windows 7 and was about $18 new on ebay.

yes after some more checking i decide to take a chance i bought the elm37 usb obii obd3 can-bus version 1.5a the diffences in the 1.4 and the 1.5a is :

Between the USB models, there should be little difference between the 1.4 and 1.5 other than obvious cosmetics. With the bluetooth adapters, the 1.5 hardware adressed reliability issues with the 1.4 firmware and The 1.5a is built a little nicer and offers a longer cable to your computer

i pay about 33.00 with shipping my comes with software ( which iam sure its freeware software that comes with it) i pay more for the longer cables so we will see how well this works i know i cant do ALL the tests out there with this but hopefully it will help with most things

irankzz – where can u buy the logging software at?

                    thanks
