scan tool and compression tester

hi i need to compression test my car engine and i need a scan tool to scan codes. Can someone send me a link to one that can do the job? it dosnt have to be a really good one, i only need it once. can someone send me a ebay link to one thats cheap but still good enough for what i need it for
