Same Transmission different drive axle outputs?

Ok my tranny went in my 2003 Saturn L200 (4cyl. 2.2L) so went to local junk yard got one and went to put it in.. same transmission so got it in and got the driver side drive axle in nice and went todo passenger side and it’s different?? The axle is internal spline like in the pic and so is the transmission?? called junk yard and they said to pull a pin on the old tranny and put the stub shaft in the new.. Where is this pin exactaly? Any insight on how I’m to go about this or anyone who has done it tell how? New tranny came off a 2003 Oldsmobile alero

I think you need to remove the stub axle seal and sleeve …see attached…(PDF)

I’m no expert here but I would go by the salvage yards suggestion. I wish I had more info for you on how that shaft comes out. Perhaps we can get a GM expert to weigh in on this one.
