Safe to keep bearings in the freezer for a week?

I was going to change my rear wheel bearings last weekend, so I put the new bearings into the freezer to shrink them. For various reasons I never actually got around to doing the job, but the bearings are still in the freezer. Can I leave them there until next weekend?

If rust is not forming then yes.

Same thing happens when you leave it outside on a cold winters night so I can’t see the harm.

IDK but if your freezer has any frost build up in it I would at least give them a dose of WD-40 until you get them packed.
