Runs fine but parasitic draw on ignition circuit

Hi everybody I got my 98 civic killing a battery over the weekend .

I finally got around to pulling fuses and check in with my amp meter and it’s the IG1 circuit which is drawing about .7 to 1amp (it varies), With the car completely off.

I pulled the relay but the draw remains.

What components could be causing this ?

With the ignition switch off the computers and radio clock would be in circuit.
The computers need time to go to sleep. Your going to have to keep pulling fuses.

Suggest you get a wiring diagram for your specific vehicle and see what is tied to that IG1 circuit and begin isolating each component.

I pulled the starter relay, going to pull the 7.5amp fuse later (when it’s not bone chilli cold outside).

Curious, it looks like the 40amp ig1 fuse is in series with the main battery fuse.

It’s got to be something in the lower part of diagram.

From what I read im lucky, others have draw of 3 or 4 amps (probably oober bad for batt)
