could be the squicking indicator on the pads… do you feel anything when driving?? How bad is your pads???… I can go and give you like 20 other things that it can be but I need more info to point you in the right direction… but first off check your pad brake indicator’s and see if that is them

is another thing to check… is it a knocking sound or a purring sound ????
other things if its a knoicking sould to check is ball joint ,tie rod, shocks, sway bar links or bushings

my recommendation is not do it that way is to find out if your car is front wheel or rear wheel drive … if front wheel is to jack the both wheels off and use jack stands and block the back wheels up then run the test… and see if you hear it… then to check each wheel put the car in nutual and spin each wheel by hand … you should be able to check it out… Eric’s way you have to be very very careful if the car both car wheels hit the ground you will go and make a new door for your grudge… or if you have a dual track system that the trans will spin both tire equally then you might have car move forward moff the jack

No not that the noise skips and if I go fast you can slightly hear it but faster
…it sounds like it could be coming from the front or back…
Good job at narrowing down the possibilities.

Someone told me that it could be a metal band in the tires and one of them them is bent causing a low spot is this true

that is prity easy to check… take the tire off roll it on side walk or driveway and see if it fall’s to one side keep repeating it untill you can spin like 2-3 rev… also see if you see any bulges on side of it or metal mess coming out from it…

PS… just an FYI tires can go prity far if they are good… I have see a tire rolling down the street like 1/4 of a mile with someone trying to run after tire to catch up to it…LOL
