Hey forum,
I started working on my moms “new” ’92 Accord and the car keeps throwing a CEL for the EGR valve, I was trying to remove it to inspect and clean it but noticed that RTV is gooped on there coming around the edges, I’ve been trying to run down Acetone down the bolt threads and shimmying it (with the very limited room its really hard), also trying to wedge a blade carefully between the EGRV and manifold but it’s not budging.
Any way to get the RTV to break apart or pull free when its glued between two surfaces like this?
Thanks for reading!
