Hello all,
I have an 06 RSX base model. I just changed out my power steering fluid because the fluid was actually becoming thicker when the temp dropped below 32. So I flushed the system and replaced with honda power steering fluid from the dealer and now the steering is really easy. But I’ve also noticed that on sharp turns, it feels like the wheels don’t turn at a certain point along the with the steering wheel. Almost like it slips and I have to overcorrect. Also, when I turn out of the turn, I’m going straight but the steering wheel is still turned slightly in the direction of the turn. Is my rack and pinion going out? What can a check to find out what my problem is? Could this have to do with my changing of the fluid?
