Hey all,

Im in serious need of help.. today i noticed that when my car is warm and im at idle and i turn on the hear, lights, or even roll up my window and hold the switch my RPMS drop really low, so low that it almost stalls… Does this mean my alternator/voltage regulate is going bad?? i need help asap.. thanks guys.

it may be but do the basic troubleshooting as per Eric video on charging system. I think there is another video about that too. check for loose connection, battery voltage while off and on. etc. battery terminals check for corrosion.

I would definitely start looking around the battery. If you can, have it load tested as from my experience it may have enough life to hold a decent charge to start your car, but as you turn on the appliances it may struggle to handle everything. I once had an issue whenever it rained and the windows fogged up, that when I had my wipers and fan blower running on full all the lights were very dim on the dash, and the wipers were barely moving the speed they should even on fast. But recently I put in a new battery for age sake, and that fixed everything. It can be as simple as that, but start with the basics checking the connections are nice and tight and that the voltage from the battery is around 12.8v when the engine is not running, and around 14v when the car is idling.

whats the year, make, model and engine size?
actually when you put a load on the car.The
idle should go up.I would suspect the IAC.
If your charging system is 100%

Yes, year, make, and model please. As for the problem it might be an idle control issue or a charging system issue. Anytime you suspect a charging system problem you ALWAYS start by checking the battery. If you don’t have a good battery then it needs to be replaced before you do anymore testing.
