I had a hard go of it pulling the injectors from the injector base a few days ago.
02 civic ex 1.7Now, I’ve reassembled what I’d taken apart and the car still runs 🙂
but I’m not able to reseat the injectors all the way into the base.
The injector on the tranny side is in most of the way, but the injector on the timing belt side
is still showing most of the O ring.I’m guessing that is one of several reasons why ETCG recommended sticking mostly to the ERG valve rather then going for the EGR passages in the intake.

I’m wondering if I should try removing the injectors from the rail, insert each injector individually and reattach the injectors to the rail.
