replacing accord wheel bearing video question

You cut a race of the hub. Is this race part of the bearing? If so did the bearing come apart from beating it? I know its not a big deal because the bearing is being changed. I just wanted to know where this race came from, seeing as you did not put one back on.

The race would be part of the bearing.

Yes, the race is part of the bearing. You must remove the old race before installing the new bearing.
