      Hey,

I have a 2006 Toyota 4Runner SR5 4.7L. V8 which was recently in an accident and now needs come replacement parts however I can’t find the parts I need because I don’t know what they are called when all said and done and attached to the car. The part or rather parts that i’m looking for all end up attaching together and becoming the single unit to which the wheel is bolted and finally suspended in between the upper and lower control arms allowing it to make contact with the road. Individually all the components which will eventually come together to make up this finished part include the brake rotor, calipers, brake hub, elbow joint (which attaches the hub to the upper control arm) The finished part is then suspended between the upper and lower control arms, attached to the break rotor, has the break calipers placed on it, connected to its twin on the opposite side of the car through the anti-roll bars and the tie rod ends, and finally has a wheel attached to each one with the lug nuts. Was Just wondering if there was a single term for this suspension component, because I can never find all the individual components to make it up

      Thanks a lot
      Best, -J

see if this helps or you could visit a Toyota parts dept.
They will have all the break downs you need and I’m sure
        will print it for you.

What you are describing is actually several different parts combined together. Where I am from we call this the “knee assembly”. If you are ordering your parts new, you would have to describe them individually. If you are getting them from a salvage yard, just ask for the knee assembly. If you need more info, just call your local Toyota dealer and ask for the explosion diagram for that area of your vehicle. This will have very detailed images with part numbers. Hope this helps. Aaron

Is it possible for you to post a pic of what you need?
