2003 Mitsubishi Diamante. I changed the o2 B2 Sensor 1 and now it turns over but will not start. Before I changed it, it had a brief rough idle then would run great. Code PO155. Any ideas?

I copied and pasted this from the OBD code scan search function hope it helps there is more on that artical but i believe this is the most relevant

        P0141, P0135, P0147, P0155, P0161, P0167 02 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction

In addition to the P0141 you could also have a P0135, P0147, P0155, P0161, or P0167, these all pretty much mean that there has been a fault detected with the heater circuit in one of the oxygen sensors on your vehicle. I’m going to say the for the MOST part when you see one of these codes you would need to replace the effected O2 sensor BUT there are times where it could also be a wiring or ECU issue so don’t go too far out on that limb because you might find yourself scratching your head because the sensor you replaced didn’t turn off the check engine light.

So it could be your new sensor is defective or not wired properly

Did you use an OEM replacement sensor, or by chance did you use an aftermarket one? (especially one that needs to be re-wired in….

I used a Bosh exact fit. No wiring needed. I did notice that the tip was a bit discolored. I figured it was from factory testing.

You should be fine with the Bosch sensor. However, there could be an issue with the wiring that caused the actual failure. That said, with any no start, you have to start with the basics. Check for fuel, spark, and engine mechanical and go from there. More information in this article.

I tried it first thing this morning, and it started right up! I did not do anything to it. I left it last night in a “will not start” condition. Check Engine Light returned. I’ll pulled the codes: PO442, PO431, PO141. Could any one of them cause this condition?

I am starting to go through the trouble shooting steps to check the fuel pump. I do not see a valve on the fuel rail. Also, there is no sound when cycling the key but the car does start. Do I have a return fuel system that would not require the pump to initiate when key cycling?

Not every fuel system has a port to install a psi gauge. You may need to find a kit with the adapter that will work on your vehicle.
