There are only the official service manuals (actually it’s an online service where, as I understand it, you just rent the manual), which is too expensive for me, and no third party manuals that I can find.

I’ve got a line on a 98 Seat Toledo that I could get for essentially pocket change considering it’s condition, but I’m sure it’s going to need some work done on it eventually, that I can’t really afford to get done. So I’m gonna need a manual, which is difficult for the above reason.

As I understand it, Seats are really VWs under different badges, so would I be able to use the manual for some VW with this Seat?

      Thanks.

          Nice!

I don’t have Paypal though, but that looks good. Are these usually legit?

Get a paypal account. It’s free and very simple. I love getting things on ebay for my car. I rarely go anywhere else. It’s worth it. Also, if you go to autozoneswebsite, you can sign up for a free account, add your vehicle to your account, go to my zone, then click on vehicle repair manuals, and there you have a free repair manual for your car.

Whew, sorry this reply took a while, I was away from the site for a bit.

I’m now in possession of the car and I’ve taken it for a couple of spins. It’s fun to drive, but sadly it needs a cam belt change, which is a big job for someone like me who has no experience, but I’ll burn that bridge when I get to it.
That’s the biggest thing right now though.

So I did some research and it seems like the later databases for Elsa no longer contain the instructions for the Seat Toledo 1l (or Mk1) since it’s so old.

Actually, the car didn’t even have an owner’s manual, and the sticker had dropped out ages ago, so I have no idea what the tire pressures should be. I don’t suppose anyone would have some kind of nifty math formula that could be used to calculate it, or something?
