      A 2004 Buick rendezvous with a 3100 v6 automatic is overheating strangely.
No leak trail from the water pump and no odd noises either.
      Cooling fans kick in fine.
      New thermostat.
I’ve added coolant and changed the radiator cap also.
I burbed the coolant, air steadily escapes even after hours of burping it. The coolant level never goes down.
Shutting the engine off for two minutes cools it down fast.
Compression tests fine on all cylinders. No signs of water and coolant mixing.
If I heard noise from the water pump, I would suspect it right away, there are none. The upper hose gets warm after a bit of driving as it should.
Anyone think a coolant flush may remove the air out?
My instincts say there is a large air pocket that cannot be totally burped, causing cavitation for the water pump.
I’m out of ideas and need help here.
