      There are pliers and pullers made specifically for popping wiper arms off their serrated shafts.


      With a bit of the right “feel”, you can often pop the arms off by hand. Make sure you are pulling straight out, absolutely in line with the serrated shaft.

        Judging by the picture of the new part, it’s suggesting that the arm is held down by a nut. That means that the end of the arm has a plastic cover that you’ll need to pull off. They make those covers look like a seamless part of the arm. Just get under the end and pull toward yourself. Then it’s probably got a 15 or 18 mm nut to unscrew. It’s got a splined taper shaft to it and you might just be able to rock the arm back & forth a little to break it free. Otherwise, a small two jaw battery clamp puller works well for those occasions too………………just like what Evil-I shows in that second picture.
