So I’ve recently swapped out a faulty master cylinder on my 90 Acura Integra due to the brake pedal sinking into the floor. However, I decided to purchase a remanufactured MC (economical reasons) but I’m reading many blogs warning people to stay away from them because they will randomly go out. I purchased it at an Autozone and its an OEM remanufactured NISSIN. A couple people have stated that they’ve done the same thing and had no problems. So I just wanted a professional opinion on this matter. Is a remanufactured MC a bad idea? Should I just return it? Thanks for any advice!
