        Does the vehicle start?

I would look in the owners manual and see exactly what that light means.

it starts, and its being driven. it hasn’t blinked since i replaced the starter last month. its a friends car and it kind of bothers her, saying her alarm is not working. saw another friend with the the same car, and her light is blinking.

I would take the vehicle to the dealer as there scan tools can trouble shoot anti-theft trouble codes whereas must independent shops can not.

it stays on, but doesn’t blink. i know its supposed to blink while the ignition off, and while park etc. is there anything i can do first, maybe a procedure to reset it. i have yet to see the owners manual. thanks for the replies.

I would try doing a ‘Google’ search or wait to see if another forum member has experienced this issue or knows the fix.

Means the transponder ecu is in auto registration mode and may be time limited.
You can fix this if you have a toyota scan tool and if not you need to take it to the dealer before you need it towed in.

I did not know this, thanks for the post Jacob.

As Jacob said in his post it will have to be rectified at the dealer by the sound of it.

You can search around an independent shop that has Toyota Techstream that may be able to just perform an all ‘all keys lost’ function and rewrite the two keys providing you have two keys and the shop is a vehicle security professional shop.
Other than taking it to a dealer you can take it to an automotive locksmith that should be qualified to perform that same function the dealer does.

In the information era, people’s life is filled with hustles and bustles. Sometimes we just want a quiet environment to enjoy ourselves. Then you may need this Military Signal Jammer masking for acoustic interference against listening devices.
