Hello, I’ve got a 2000 Honda Civic with the beginning stages of a clutch MC leak. I was wondering if I should stick with the OE one from Honda or if I could potentially get a better aftermarket one? If so, would anyone know of a good aftermarket brand that would be better than the OE one?

Since you asked for recommendations, my recommendation is OEM.

OEM. In most cases the OEM part will always be better. It is what originally came on that vehicle and is engineered to work with those systems.

I hear that its pretty common for the OE MC to go out. That’s why I was wondering some recommendations. It seems like I should still go with OE though?

I have done several of these and have used aftermarket parts on some. The aftermarket part is usually a bit different and takes some fiddling to get the pedal travel just right.
