As an update I won the bid on the carb and let it soak 24 hrs in perryman cleaner but it didn’t work. I bough a new carb but in the mean time my key cyclinder lock tore up. My bug is a 69 with a column lock does any one know how to replace the cyclinder lock and the ignition switch I know they come out together. Does any web site have pictures they would help. Thanks Kenny

Thanks for sending me your reply. I was on the same one on you tube myself but my 69 doesn’t look like that one–but as I started watching the video I realized it’s closer to my set up than I thought. Thanks for sending me the video it will be lots of help. Kenny
