I am really getting into the whole cordless tool thing. However the cost of a lot of these tools is really expensive. In my Junk Removal Business I just rebuild a lot of the cordless tools that people throw away. I am noticing the cost to rebuild them is a lot cheaper than trying to buy them new or even used. Lol. I am learning how to do this stuff right off YouTube.

I have looked into rebuilding batteries, looks like you cant really do lithium batteries right now. To bad cause I have a couple that need rebuilt.

As far as the cordless impacts go, I have a Milwaukee 1/2″ and like it, its got about the same torque as the SO. I have only had it a couple months, but it hasn’t failed to take off a lugnut yet. Guy I work with has the SO 1/2″, he has had it for a while and seems to like it. But, IR has a new one out now, W7150 I think. Its supposed to have a lot more power than any of the others.

Use the 1/2″ drive cordless impact 18v lxt makita every day at work. Its a little heavier then I’d like but does the job quick. I also use the Milwaukee m12, cordless 3/8″ drive ratchet. Again gets the job done quick.
