Rear passenger wheel vibrates at 40 mph and at 60 mph.

The inner brake pad on that wheel had significantly more wear on it than the outer brake pad. It turns out that 1 of the caliper slider pins was seized. I replaced the caliper bracket, slider pins, bushings, rotors and pads. This helped with the vibration, but it is still not gone.

The tires were just balanced and rotated at the dealer with no change.
The wheel bearing was replaced with a new one and no change to the vibration. The axle nut was torqued to spec.
Both rear axles are less than 2 years old and were installed at a reputable shop.

Any other ideas? This vibration is driving me crazy! TIA!

Rotate the tires and see if the vibration remains in the rear or moves with the tire

^^ Agreed. I have had a similar problem with my F150 and the vibration did indeed move. How old are your tires? I know my front tires were made in 2010 and they are cheap Chinese knock offs. I am willing to bet they are out of round or something that a balance will not fix.

Check “road force” on the tires. We deal with vibration issues on the new silverados all the time. Try that first, even if they’re balanced the road force can be high causing a vibration to still be present.

Thanks for the input everyone but it should not be a tire issue because the tires were balanced and rotated at the dealer and the vibration remained at the rear right tire.

If not the tire and rim, might have to check the run out of the wheel flange to make sure it is not bent.
Also, what condition are the shocks?
