Rear door lock problem

Hey , been having problems with my cars rear door not locking with key or remote , it locks fine manually otherwise, it’s a Holden Commodore 2005 model

You’ll have to pull the door card and watch what it’s doing when you try to use the key. It sounds like the key cylinder and electric lock are in the same module.
When you turn the key in that door does it feel different from the others?
Do you hear noise from that door when you hit the remote button?

It’s just the left rear door that’s playing up , I’m thinking it’s the actuator in the rear door , all other doors work fine but the left rear , no noise from door either

No matter what you’re going to have to pull off the door card (inner door panel). I have a feeling the key mechanism and electric solenoid are both one part. Because the key isn’t working either, I have a feeling it’s the linkage between that module and the door latch.
I’m not familiar with this car particularly, but most cars are designed with similar methodology. They just have to vary things a bit to avoid copyright infringements.

Will do , taking it down to my Holden dealer next Monday , it’s due it’s yearly safety inspection so I’ll kill two birds at once
