Hey there,
I just replaced the rear shoes on my 97 ram 1500. Everything seemed to go OK but now I have no parking brake at all. It worked before I replaced the shoes but now there is no resistance.
Also, the pins on one of the wheel cylinders popped out. I put them back in and there seems to be no leaks. Is that okay? or should i replace the cylinder now as well?
Any help would be appreaciated. Thanks

On the parking brake, is it possible teh brake cable did not get hooked in properly or the sprngs did not get installed correctly. How is the pedal feel? if the pedal feel in not good, more adjustment may be needed. Pull teh drums and verify your work is done correctly.
The pins falling out of the cyllinder is likely OK, a lot of them come without the pins and you need to swap them over from the old ones. If there are no leaks, it is probably good.

A part must have been left out, not reconnected/reinstalled properly or the rear brakes were not adjusted.
The pins that the wheel cylinder pistons push against can just be seated back into the dust boot with no issues.
If you post clear, close up pictures, we should be able to tell you where the problem lies.
