disregard the temp gage it is not connected to any thing and issue not connected to temp

      – the engine sounds like it almost dies when it dips in rpm so i listened to the fuel pump and it is running constantly
      – I disconnected the throttle position sensor and the idel settled out but at 3000rpm

      your suggestions are greatly appreciated

PS i have a 240 but with the KA24E are the throttle position sensors the same because thay look very simeler?

I would not rule out the temp sensor, if it’s connected to the engine temp signal going to the computer the computer will not be able to properly calculate a fuel mixture. The most common cause of idle problems is an air fuel mix problem and the most common cause of that is vacuum leaks. Here is a video that might help. One thing before I post the link and that is if you have any check engine lights address those first.
