Ouch. Has anyone else ever had a radiator sprout a pinhole leak OR THREE near the top, below the neck?

Is it a metal or plastic top tank? If metal, any rad shop can solder the leaks cheaply in a few minutes.

If you’re dealing with a plastic tank, I’d say you’re looking at replacing it, but that depends on the overall condition of the rad. If the core is iffy, it would be better to replace the entire rad.

Stay away from those “leak stopper” additives. They’re nothing but bottled trouble.

Look into the repair price vs replacement. Up here in Canada (in my area anyway) rad shops are closing down. If it has sprung some leaks, chances are other areas will too. And as evil says. Stay away from stop leak, they cause more problems down the line.

Def replace the radiator. The tank looks to be cracked. Not uncommon near the the hot neck.
