On hondas the cooling system bleeder valve is normaly part of the t/stat housing. looks like a bleeder valve for a wheel cyl / caliper.

            Hello
I’m Rafael an yes I do have an issue with my car last year i had an overheating problem on my 98 honda civic 1.6 (D16Y7) and we had to remove the cylinder head and we did take it to the machine shop to fix it. we did put it back on with Brand new head gasket, new thermostat, temperature sensor, check fuses and relay for the radiator fan and heater fan (both working ) but the temperature gauge still going up real bad so, I did watch eric’s video( how to bleed air from cooling system)that’s why am asking for the air bleeder valve if there is one on this particular car
            any sugestions

actually the bleed screw is only there for filling
the system not bleeding air.If the bleeding video
bleeding procedure is followed.Your air problem should
be resolved. You may need to repeat the procedure.

+1 on College man’s response. BTW that year does NOT have a bleeder valve but as pointed out you don’t need it to bleed the system. Ignore that part of the video and do everything else the same and you should successfully bleed the air out. Keep us posted on your progress.

                  🙂 Hello Erick
I just want to let you know about my progress on my honda.
                  this is what happened
                  bleeding cooling system… ok
we got the car running for last 3 days but the temperature gauge still moving up so waht I’m doing is driving with the heater on hight temperature but fan is off
I had to do it that way because as soon I move heater to the coolest position, the temperature gauge start going up, not to bad but i don’t want to wait until it moves too far
                  thanks

If the gauge still creeps up.I would repeat
                      the bleeding procedure.
