I will apologize ahead of time, but given the seriousness of knock retard I figured I should post this here so I can get an answer from someone who knows their shit.

Back in February I installed split ratio rocker arms and an aftermarket intake on my 09 Buick Lacrosse with the L26 3800 V6. It’s been fun, instead of dying of around 80mph she pulls clean up to the Gov at 110mph.

I’m planning on throwing an aftermarket exhaust, P+P LIM and FWI on it in the future, but I had a friend say since I’m adding all that extra air I need to upgrade the fuel pump or I’ll end up running lean. I’m also aware of the issues of KR when modding.

That brings me to my question. I know you guys use actual scan tools to run diagnostics and check out different perimeters, but seeing as how I don’t have 2-3k to drop on a Tech II I was hoping you could recommend a good android OBDII scanner and software. I’ve looked into Aeroforce but they don’t support 07 and newer Lacrosse’s.

You can pull a lot of info with Torque and even change PIDs with it.
