Hey all,
I’m a noob at air tools, and I recently decided to get my feet wet.
I decided to start with a 20 gallon air compressor: http://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/20-gallon-portable-air-compressor/A-p8474983e
And an Impact Wrench with a max torque of 230ft-lbs: http://www.princessauto.com/en/detail/1-2-in-dr-air-impact-wrench/A-p8571663eHere’s the problem, no matter how high I set the PSI, I can’t seem to loosen the lug bolt on my car that’s torqued to 87ft-lbs
Am I doing something wrong?
In the manual it says to fill the drill with oil via the air inlet, and to run it till it clears all the oil out of the exhaust vents the first time.
I did that, yet it still seems to have no power.Any ideas?
Total air tools noob here, so please let me know if I’m missing something obvious.
Thanks,
Nabeel
