      american go with dodge i have a friend who has a dodge and it has 250k miles on it and another with 200k miles on it BUT like any car you need to do regular maintnance.

        I would stay away from anything Chrysler (Dodge) 10+ years old, they are notorious in the auto repair industry for transmission problems.

            120k miles on my 2008 Honda Civic, I have done nothing to it other than fluid and brake pads. Had two Ford Rangers 1996 and 2001 and found both to be near bulletproof.
