Hello form, I have a 98 nissan maxima 3.0L I am in the process of installing an aftermarket alarm. Power lock and unlock both can be found at the “AT LOCAL CONTROL UNIT”. Well alright! Glad you solved that mystery. That does make
sense about the double pulse. Thanks for the update. 🙂Glad it is working how factory alarms work is you press unlock once to unlock the drivers door and twice to unlock all doors. I dont think id install one myself mainly because of all the work needed for my car as i have to hook up extra gizmos for the trunk and door locks to work as i dont have power locks or a power trunk release so i would need to install actuators in all the doors and trunk plus i dont know how to install a glass breaking sensor part of the alarm so i think id just pay a professional to install it. But its cool you got it working 😀
