push rod suspension

I’m going to build a Fairmont track car with front and rear push rod suspension. Not quite sure how to go about it but I’ll probably just cobble it up out of old stuff I have laying around that was never intended to be such a thing. I’m going to try it on a go cart first just for fun and experience so I hopefully don’t go sliding across the finish line in a roll cage on the ground. The thing is with the go cart I want it to be completely adjustable so I can just throw bigger tires and raise with a different set of parts and off road it. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing or am I just nuts?
