Has anyone tried this method of purging out air from the cooling system before if so does it work? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HnFhxn-XYbU

Also for a car with a plastic cap and surge tank set up without bleeder screws would it be possible to drill a hole in a old cap, some how attach a vacuum pump to the cap and pull the air sort of like pulling the air out of an ac system?

I’ve watched Eric’s video on bleeding I just like exploring other methods hearing if they work or not.

      Thank you

Bleeding the system is pretty much the same as on any car.

The spill free funnel eric uses is not bad, you wont make a mess like the guy did in the video(even if it can be moped up you dont want to go spilling it), if your car has a bleed valve crack it open to let some air out.

You can also check the service manual for your car on doing it.

the bleeding procedures on these cars aren’t so bad, i would trust the standard bleeding procedure over this to be honest.

Thank you was just curious about other methods I’ve seen. I’ll just stick to Eric’s method.
