Hello all,
I’m getting a pulsation in the steering whenever the wheel is turned left or right. It happens while driving as well as at a stand still. When the steering wheel is turned, you feel a pulse of pressure trying to straighten the wheel which constantly repeats till you straighten the wheel. It is a steady pulse, just like when you check your pulse on your wrist. The strength of the pulse does not change with engine speed, but the timing of the pulses does.
Since it does this standing still, I know it is not a brake/rotor issue and it is not a stuck in 4 wheel issue. This is happening on a 2003 Ford F150 4X4.
Any thoughts will be greatly appreciated.
