Hey guys. I am having some issues with my 2006 pontiac g6 gt and I will try my best to describe the symptoms. When I am driving uphill or accelerating on highway, I can feel the car isn’t responding well to the gas paddle. And the car will make a clunking noise from the front end. The car will down shift to a lower gear if I hit the gas paddle harder and the noise will go away. Also the same noise would happen when I was going fast in reverse gear.
So after I spent hours on the internet. I narrow down the possible causes to TCM or the torque converter. And I would love to hear any opinions or suggestions from people who might had similar issues here. Thank you guys.
