Pressure Testing Cooling Systems

Here’s another video from my ‘basics’ series. If you have an overheat condition due to a coolant leak, pressure testing is a good way to find it. What are your thoughts?

you forgot to test the radiator cap to see if it holds pressure. i had a cap that the seals looked good but it did not hold its pressure.

I didn’t forget. I don’t have adapters for that type of cap. Also, I knew the new radiator came with a new cap. Still, it’s a good suggestion to check that as well.
