I have a 99 5spd honda prelude and recently the CEL started flashing only when at idle. There is no rough or erratic idling but it is low around 500rpm. I would have never noticed a difference unless it caught my attention out of the corner of my eye. As soon as I begin to accelerate it stops flashing. Also, just today my car stalled as I was coming to a stop in my driveway.
I know the first response is going to be did you check the codes and no I didn’t. The plugs, wires, cap and rotor were replaced about 2 months ago and I double checked for fouled plugs, gap, loose wires, etc and all is fine there. The car has 210,000 miles, burns oil faster than gas and needless to say is on its way out. I was planning to get a new car at the end of September so any repair over $100 is pretty much out of the question. Basically I’m just looking for suggestions or cheap fixes/rigs to get me through the next month or 2.

I’d do the inexpensive simple stuff: Air filter, fuel filter, clean MAF and throttle body, bottle of injector cleaner in the gas tank.
I would begin with obtaining fault codes. That would be the fastest way to gain a clue into the problem.
I pulled the codes and found random cylinder misfire and an evap code that has been on there for about 2 years
