I have a 03 acura tl and having window issues from the driverside switches. All other windows work with their individual switches but not on the main driverside(d/s) switches. I have replaced the d/s main switches and it did not fix the issue. Is this a window relay issue from the d/s and how can i go about fixing this. I hate having to reach over to each window just to roll them up/down. Much help is appreciated!

          Quoted From EndSupremacy:

According to the diagram there is a relay. However, if that relay was no good, none of the power windows would work. I do believe it is the master switch. Or the main switch within the master switch. If those check out fine, then the only other possibility is the door multiplex control unit.

I believe the multiplex unit IS the master switch on that model but that may be the later models that did that.

It would have been nice to know that the speaker was also giving you trouble as that might indicate a wiring issue similar to what you found in the end. Anytime you have unrelated systems in the same location that are having issue like that it’s a good idea to check the wiring because it’s very possible that the problems are connected.

Oh, I see what you’re saying Eric. I’m not a Honda guy, but I do know how to read diagrams. I do think you’re right though about it being on the later models, because that diagram doesn’t show the multiplex unit as the master switch. On the speaker wire issue, it doesn’t show anywhere on the diagram about there being speakers on that circuit. So my guess is that those are not OE speakers, or the speakers were replaced and/or modified, splicing into the cruise control circuit.

With the speaker issue I was going for the fact that both pass through the same door harness which is where the problem was found, I was talking about 2 seemingly unrelated systems having issue in the same proximity which can sometimes be an important clue with something like this.

Oh ok. I get what you’re saying now.
